Finding out that your child may need additional support can come with many questions. Families may be unsure where to start, what services are available or how to navigate the NDIS.

Capacity Engine supports families of young children with developmental concerns, developmental delay or disability to better understand their options and connect with appropriate supports.

We can help families with:

  • Understanding the NDIS access pathway
  • Understanding what information and evidence may be required
  • Navigating the process of seeking NDIS support for their child
  • Connecting with appropriate allied health professionals and services
  • Identifying relevant community and mainstream services
  • Connecting families with formal and informal supports

We believe a good support relationship is about more than completing tasks. It is about choice, trust, consistency and supporting people to have greater control over their everyday lives.

 

Where possible, we work with participants and families to find a support worker who is a suitable match for the participant’s personality, interests and support needs.
